Tannery Knives
The splitting knives for tanneries are designed for cutting leather that is dry, wet blue or lime. The precision and the cutting edge shape are optimal so that the blades are perfectly sharp when used in a machine with two grindstones and their durability is as long as possible. We use the best quality steel for the manufacture. That is our principle. It is the only way to manufacture a quality knife from strip steel with precise tolerances that will have the best durability. Using Swedish steel with a unique metallurgical structure enables us to achieve the longest possible durability when compared with other products on the market. The many years of experience with welding we have ensure that the welded joint is the same as the cutting edge of the knife and leather splitting is completely smooth and precise. The polishing finish process provides smoothness and minimal friction between the machine guides.
